Full Job Description

Accounts Payable and Payroll

Alegre is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable and Payroll candidate to join our growing team and support our financial operations.

Position Summary, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the restaurant’s financial health.

Candidates with experience in the hospitality sector and experience with Suppliers management liaising and pricing will be highly considered

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices (food, beverage, supplies, utilities, etc.)
Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts
Full cycle Payroll including on boarding

The Accounts Payable is responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments

Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Assist with month-end closing procedures and Mid Month
Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues
Ensure Coding is correct and inline with Company and Accounting guidelines
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

4 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience (restaurant or hospitality experience preferred)
MYOB and Xero Experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of inventory and food cost processes is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
