Your New Role- Import Airfreight Coordinator
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Import Airfreight Coordinator to manage national import airfreight solutions. This Sydney-based role is perfect for someone with airfreight experience who is ready to take ownership of results and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

The Import Airfreight Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

Manage national air import operations, delivering seamless, end-to-end solutions for key customers.
Execute on daily operational deliverables, including but not limited to coordination with strategic partners, liaising with our internal customs department, arranging and tracking cartage, completing job billing.
Serve as a primary contact with customers, carriers, service providers, and overseas partners.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, rapid problem-solving, and consistent follow-up.
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and domestic regulatory requirements.
Proactively resolve shipment issues, escalating when necessary to maintain on-time performance.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 3 years’ experience in international freight forwarding, with a proven track record in airfreight operations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Import Airfreight Coordinator experience
Great communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a drive to deliver results and grow within the role.
