About the Role
The Modelling team brings our purpose to life by building and reviewing elegant, bespoke representations of real-world financial situations. We bring together a diverse group of experts with deep experience in delivering and reviewing (audit) financial and data models. Partnering with clients and their advisors, we provide comprehensive insights into the performance of financial assets or portfolios of businesses, projects, or other investments to ensure informed decision-making. Additionally, the team supports PE and Infra funds by developing corporate and fund models and associated low-code finance tools to connect modelling solutions to data sources and create actionable insights. Our services include Model Builds (from transaction models through to data-driven forecasting and reporting tools), Model Audits, Data Analytics, and Modelling Training.
What you’ll do:

Develop innovative finance solutions, leveraging lo-code no-code and related ETL technologies that deliver insights to support decision making for our clients.

Design and build automated data pipelines using Power Query/Power Pivot to connect financial models to diverse data sources, enabling real-time reporting and streamlined analysis.

Leverage Power BI to develop interactive dashboards and visualisations that transform complex financial data into actionable insights for clients and their stakeholders.

Take a lead in the design and delivery of tailored financial models and analytical solutions for critical business decisions, including M&A transactions, capital raises, and CFO support.

Provide model audit, assurance services, data analytics, and professional training to enhance risk management and support strategic decision-making.

Maximise your analytical and modelling capabilities with access to amazing team mentors who create centres of modelling excellence within organisations.

Liaise and nurturing relationships with clients, your team and the wider business.

Actively manage project engagements, including risks, costs and schedules.

What we’re looking for:

Must have proven experience with Power Query/Power Pivot for data transformation, automation and integration into financial models.

Proficiency in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and delivering data-driven reporting to stakeholders.

Strong experience in financial modelling with a demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate them into meaningful insights.

Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, STEM subjects or a related discipline.

An understanding and interest in commercial issues facing businesses and a passion for solving problems

Have completed or are in pursuit of CFA or CA qualifications, or Masters in relevant field of study
-
Ancillary financial modelling specific courses such as FMI.
