We’re Looking For a...

Legal Counsel with a strong foundation in corporate or commercial law, ready to grow their career in-house and take on a varied and engaging portfolio of work.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join a close-knit Corporate & Regulatory team, supporting the delivery of pragmatic legal advice across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

Provide company secretarial and corporate governance support, including ASX and ASIC lodgements, maintaining statutory registers, and assisting with board and governance processes
Support listed entity compliance obligations, including AGM preparation, reporting cycles and governance documentation
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements across the business, including technology, finance, procurement, marketing and data-related contracts
Partner with internal teams to provide practical legal advice on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
Contribute to governance improvements and assist in identifying opportunities to enhance processes and practices
Support legal projects and contribute to the development of precedents, training materials and knowledge sharing within the team
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with external legal providers where required

This role exists to provide commercially focused legal support while building capability across a broad range of corporate and regulatory disciplines.

About You

You’re a lawyer with solid foundations who is either looking to transition in-house or build on your existing in-house experience. You enjoy variety, are highly organised and thrive in a role where you can work across multiple matters at pace.

You’re proactive, solutions-focused and bring a practical mindset to your work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.

Experience & Skills That Count

Strong foundation in corporate, commercial or regulatory law
Background in a top-tier, mid-tier firm or in-house legal team
Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
Exposure to corporate governance, company secretarial or regulatory compliance matters
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work and competing priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively
Current practising certificate in New South Wales
