We are currently seeking a qualified Pastry Chef to join our wholesale production team in a full-time, hands-on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with both traditional pastry techniques and modern food manufacturing equipment, while contributing to a team focused on consistency, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce cakes, pastries, desserts, fillings and baked products to company specifications and quality standards
- Operate and work alongside commercial bakery and food manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Assist with production processes including depositing, forming, cutting and packaging operations
- Maintain consistency, presentation, portion control and product quality standards
- Follow HACCP, GMP, food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment
- Assist with stock rotation, ingredient handling and minimising wastage
- Work collaboratively with the production and administration teams to meet daily production schedules
- Contribute to continuous improvement, production efficiencies and positive team culture
About You
You are a passionate and reliable Pastry Chef who takes pride in producing quality products and working as part of a team. You have good communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience and understanding of commercial food manufacturing machinery and equipment, including production and packaging systems, will be highly regarded. A mechanical understanding of machinery operations and troubleshooting is considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications & Experience Needed
- Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification required
- Certificate IV in Patisserie or relevant industry experience highly regarded
- Experience within a bakery, patisserie or food manufacturing environment preferred
- Understanding of commercial bakery and food manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety procedures
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
