About Us

FTI Group is a family-owned business that manufactures permanent formwork for concrete stairs, steel door frames and metal decking based in Goulburn. We pride ourselves on our industry expertise and commitment to providing exceptional, tailored services to our clients.

About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machines to bend, shape and form metal sheets according to specifications. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. This is a full-time role for the right candidate!

Your Duties Will Include but not limited to:

Machine setting and operate press brake machines
Read and interpret drawings and work orders
Manually loading and unloading
Adjust machine settings, tools and gauges for precise folding
Inspect finished parts to ensure meet quality standards
Carry out machine change over and maintenance
Liaise with production team
Work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality

The Successful Candidates will have:

Proven experience operating Press Brake (CNC)
Current Forklift licence advantageous
Have a high mechanical aptitude
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound understanding of WHS
Attention to detail and ‘right first time’ approach
Keen, Punctual and reliable team player
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
