Headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, IEC Corporation has set up its branch offices in QLD and NSW. We are seeking a passionate Multimedia Developer with strong creative and technical skills in interactive multimedia and mobile game development. You will work side by side with our in-house production team to design, build and ship engaging, high-quality interactive content for our growing portfolio of global mobile titles.
Job Description:
· Analyse, design and develop interactive multimedia products and mobile game features, applying a mixture of artistry and creativity together with software programming and scripting languages, and interfacing with iOS and Android operating environments.
· Design and develop digital animations, imaging, presentations, games, audio and video content for in-app use, using multimedia software, tools and utilities (e.g. Unity, Photoshop, Spine, After Effects, Blender) together with interactive graphics and programming languages.
· Develop mobile games using the Unity game engine, leveraging C# scripting and Unity's mobile-specific features and optimisations.
· Implement game mechanics, user interfaces and gameplay systems to create engaging and interactive experiences for mobile users.
· Design, develop and integrate computer code with other specialised inputs such as image files, audio files, video and scripting languages, to produce, maintain and support the studio's published mobile games.
· Integrate monetisation, advertising and analytics SDKs (e.g. AppLovin, Unity Ads, AdMob, in-app purchase frameworks) into mobile titles.
· Optimise game performance to ensure smooth gameplay, efficient memory and battery usage, and responsive frame rates across a wide range of iOS and Android devices.
· Identify and fix bottlenecks, memory leaks and performance issues, and stay up to date with the latest mobile devices, operating systems and hardware capabilities.
· Communicate with platform and infrastructure specialists on deployment, security, store hosting, version control, build pipelines, backup and disaster-recovery planning for the company's products on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
· Assist in analysing, specifying and developing the studio's multimedia strategies, methodologies and development plans, including preparing technical specifications, prototypes and feature road-maps.
· Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to address bug reports and ensure a stable and polished gaming experience for users.
· Maintain comprehensive code and design documentation to ensure ease of maintenance and future development.
Requirements:
· Formal qualifications in a highly related field
· Substantial experience in online and mobile games development environment.
· Strong proficiency in the Unity game engine and C# programming, with demonstrated experience publishing titles to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
· Hands-on experience integrating 2D / 3D art, animation, audio and video assets into interactive products.
· Strong time management, organisation skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· A Vietnamese and English bilingual speaker.
· A positive personality with a can-do attitude.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
