As part of the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP), you will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on helping patients manage osteoarthritis of the hip and knee through evidence-based interventions that improve health outcomes and quality of life.

What you'll be doing
As the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Dietitian, you will provide specialised nutrition assessment, counselling and education to patients with osteoarthritis of the hip and/or knee. You will play a key role in supporting patients to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes that improve symptoms, mobility and overall wellbeing.
- Deliver comprehensive nutritional assessment, dietary counselling and education to patients and carers
- Develop individualised nutrition care plans using evidence-based practice and current clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through case conferences, meetings and coordinated care planning
- Contribute to the development of patient resources, education programs and health promotion initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical supervision and professional development activities to support service excellence

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Tertiary qualifications relevant for employment as a Clinical Dietitian
Selection Criteria:
1. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership to Dietitians Australia
2. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Nutrition and Dietetic practice in a clinical setting, preferably for patients with osteoarthritis and related conditions
3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Must have presentation skills and can engage with patients and carers with kindness and compassion
4. Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills along with self-initiative
5. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice and involvement in quality improvement activities
6. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
7. Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, set priorities and apply a range of options to develop solutions
