The Mount Hospital Cath Lab is an exciting place to work and considered one of Perth’s premier private cardiac facilities, why wouldn’t you want to join the team?
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses to commit on full time/part time and casual basis and have experience in cardiac and vascular angiography, including those with a passion for structural heart, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology.
Applicants in adjacent fields such as interventional radiology will also be considered. Further opportunities for career progression in these disciplines is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using industry leading equipment and technologies to deliver exceptional care to every patient

Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, technicians and radiographers to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Demonstrating a commitment to continual learning and performing evolving procedures in all disciplines of Angiography, including Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart repair and replacement technologies.

Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives by collectively identifying areas for enhancement in processes and outcomes

Contributing to collaborative decision-making to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
- Actively participating in the mentoring and skill-set development of less experienced team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery post intervention.
Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA
-
Minimum 12 months experience in the Angiography Suite

Commitment to Quality Patient Care and demonstrated ability to adhere to the ACQSHC National standards.

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

Works well independently and within a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Attainment of qualification and/or competency in Angiography disciplines (or progression towards same).

Located near King’s Park, Mount Private Hospital is Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU).
The Angiography suite at the Mount Hospital is a dynamic and busy unit completing over 4120 coronary and vascular procedures a year - and we are expanding further. The Cath Labs provide a variety of specialist services including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with advanced 3D mapping for complex arrhythmias, cardiac implantable devices, vascular intervention and structural heart cases.
We have a team of experienced supportive nursing staff and radiographers delivering the highest quality care and service. There are 3 new state of the art Angiography suites adjacent to our 41 bedded coronary care unit. Along with the 3 labs, we have a Hybrid suite in the theatre complex with easy access to our 10 bedded level 3 ICU.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Mount Hospital – Registered Nurses – Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $39.17 - $51.75 per hour.
