About the Role
This casual opportunity is ideal for Pharmacy Students eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world hospital environment, as well as Pharmacy Technicians seeking flexible weekday work.
Key responsibilities:
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
- Delivery of medications to hospital wards.
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.
- Assist in the accurate distribution and supply of medications to patients and clinical areas.
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
The casual arrangement offers flexibility to work shifts that suit your schedule. Typical shifts on offer are as follows:
- Tuesday: 3.30pm – 8.00pm
- Alternate Fridays: 3.30pm-8.00pm
About You
Whether you’re a Pharmacy Technician looking for flexible work or a Pharmacy Student keen to gain early experience – we welcome you to apply!
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy dispensing experience.
- Full Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment.
- Availability to work the advertised shifts.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
