About the Role
Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic and rewarding environment where teamwork, accuracy, and patient care are at the centre of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
Key responsibilities:
- Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients.
- Deliver medications to hospital wards and assist with medication rounds.
- Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities.
- Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees.
- Pharmacy claims and general administration duties.
Shift information:
- 32 hour per fortnight role.
- Availability required on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings
About You
While hospital pharmacy experience is highly regarded, it’s not essential. Full training will be provided to support your transition into hospital pharmacy.
Essential requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy.
- Australian working rights with a minimum of 12 months' validity.
- Ability to work advertised shifts.
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy or equivalent.
