Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician

Dandenong, VIC

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician to join our growing community pharmacy team in Dandenong.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and progressive pharmacy.

You'll work closely with experienced pharmacists and team members to provide high-quality patient care while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with dispensing and prescription workflow
Provide outstanding customer service and assist with general pharmacy enquiries
Support customers with over-the-counter product selection and recommendations
Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all tasks
Assist with stock management, ordering, merchandising, and inventory control
Process sales and customer transactions efficiently using pharmacy software and POS systems
Contribute to a well-organised, professional, and welcoming pharmacy environment
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient daily operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 1 year of experience working in a community pharmacy
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Dispensary Technician, or similar role
Experience with Webster packing and medication packing services is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
A positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people
Confidence using pharmacy dispensing systems and POS software
Australian work rights
A willingness to undertake further pharmacy-related training or qualifications if required
