Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Full-Time Chef to join our esteemed culinary team at Puffing Billy Cafe and Bar. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our renowned establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute a diverse menu of dishes with creativity, precision, and attention to detail, in line with our culinary standards and guest expectations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Collaborate closely with our culinary team to develop seasonal menus, daily specials, and innovative culinary offerings that highlight local and seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed to support menu execution.
Provide leadership and mentorship to kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with management to control food costs, optimize kitchen operations, and uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen environment, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes that delight our guests.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Salary Range: $78,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
