Female Disability Support Worker

About the Role
Mars Hill Care is seeking a caring, reliable, and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a female client. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering individuals to live independently and enjoy meaningful participation in the community.
This role involves supporting the client with daily living activities, transporting her to appointments, assisting with social and recreational outings, and helping her maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful and person-centred support in line with the client’s individual needs and goals
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties (as required)
- Accompany and transport the client to medical appointments, community activities, and social outings
- Encourage independence, engagement, and social connection
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation
- Ensure the client’s safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
Requirements
- Current and valid driver’s licence with access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Experience in disability support or community services (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
