Full Job Description

$32.37 per hour as a permanent full-time employee on wages

Long Bay Forensic Hospital, NSW Government site in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs

Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. We are passionate about ensuring residents and patients are well nourished, well cared for, valued and safe. Our services come from the heart and served with a smile.

For the Long Bay Forensic Hospital, we are looking for somebody Pick Packer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, unpacking, and moving of goods in a loading dock environment, as well as driving and delivering to other locations. The successful person will also be responsible for all the cleaning in and around the food service storage areas. This role requires a physically fit individual applying a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of the equipment supplied to manage and move stock across the site.

THE POSITION

Permanent, full-time, $32.37 / hour (ordinary hours). Mon-Fri with some exceptions.
Receive, record and store all food service deliveries to Long Bay Forensic Hospital
Competently and safely load and unload trucks and containers daily
Operation of special purpose vehicle and towing
Cross-team help. You will help cleaning & laundry & catering teams

THE PERSON

Previous experience in a similar role (no forklift use or licence required)
DL - Driver Licence, must have full and valid Australian Driver Licence
NPC - National Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain it)
WWCC - Working With Children Check card holder (or be willing to obtain it)
This role requires a physically fit individual
