Full Job Description

Yulong Investments is a leading Victorian Thoroughbred Stud situated in the Nagambie area. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate full-time Farm Hand to join our team.

The successful applicant will be dependable and self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic and have previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

Tractor and machinery work.
Assisting with fencing.
Spraying and land preparation.
General farm and garden duties.
Assist with care and management of livestock.
Routine maintenance of farming equipment and machinery.
Assisting with irrigation and water systems.
Comply with all workplace health and safety and equal employment opportunity initiatives to contribute to a safe, healthy, equitable and ethical workplace.
Work in accordance with management directions.

What we’re looking for:

Experience driving heavy machinery.
Use of GPS Equipment (preferred but not essential).
Cattle experience (preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of Irrigation.
Problem solving mindset.
Attention to detail when completing tasks.
A passion for agriculture and a good attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Full driver’s license.
Full working rights in Australia.
