About the Centre:
Milestones Early Learning Raby provides high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 0-5 years in a warm, welcoming and purpose-built setting. Located on Thunderbolt Drive and open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, our long day care centre supports local families with flexible, dependable care and a strong sense of community.
Our dedicated team of educators are passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to explore, learn and grow. With engaging indoor and outdoor learning spaces, a large playground, and developmentally appropriate resources, each day brings new opportunities for fun, discovery and meaningful learning.
Guided by the Lifelong Learning Curriculum, Australia’s most advanced early education framework, we offer enriching experiences across STEM, language, literacy, creativity, and social development. Our government-approved preschool program helps children build the confidence and skills they need for a smooth transition to school.
About the Role
- Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Kindy room.
- Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school and positive experiences within our community.
- Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
- Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.
About You
- An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Relevant teachers’ registration (if applicable)
- A current Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- A strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
