Full Job Description

Next Level Consulting Solutions are working with leading industry partners to give good jobs to good people. You will deal with a strongly connected manager for all steps of your role. These are full time positions, direct to client hire.

New Opportunities for experienced Boilermakers, Welders and Metal Fabricators have presented for those with experience in heavy engineering. You will be working in a mining and resource hot spot, so experience working with heavy structural steel and earthmoving equipment is a necessity. An example of your work could be welding or fabricating dump truck bodies or steel that will be used in mining infrastructure.

Experience and Requirements:

Minimum 3 Years full-time working in comparable position
Cert III in Relevant Trade
Experience working in a mining environment and on mining plant/equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projects
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to plans
Use manual or automated equipment for cutting, shaping, and bending metal
Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as Arc, MIG, Stick and Flux Core Heavy Welding
Read and interpret welding blueprints to determine welding requirements
Prepare workpieces by cleaning, cutting, and fitting metal components
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate methods based on materials
Conduct inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards
Collaborate with team members to optimize fabrication processes
Maintain records of materials used and production timelines
Operate machinery safely and efficiently
Follow welding procedures and protocols for consistent quality
Complete projects within set timelines and budgets
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations

Pay and Conditions:

Base Rate: $35/hr
$10-$30/hr in allowances based on experience and role
Total hourly rate: $45/hr - $65/hr
Full time employment with rostered mining hours
