Full Job Description

About the Role: Daishsat is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Murray Bridge, SA. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of a wide range of metal products and structures that support our field operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established and respected company in the mining services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and modify components including sheet metal using aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanised steel.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal components.
Operate a variety of metalworking tools and equipment — including MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards and specifications.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace in compliance with safety procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion.

About You:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication.
Previous experience with supervision of a small number of staff and external contractors
Previous experience designing, fabricating and maintenance
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel to a high standard.
Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
Confident using metal fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, folders, and guillotines.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software will be highly regarded.
