OUR TEAM
Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.
YOUR ROLE
Carry out fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities across plant and equipment
Perform equipment repairs, overhauls, testing and installations
Read and interpret technical drawings and sketches while working to scheduled maintenance plans
Conduct risk assessments and identify underperforming equipment for further investigation and improvement
Provide technical support and guidance to contractors, while maintaining regular communication with the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Manager
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Trade qualified as a Fitter and Machinist or equivalent
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
Hands-on experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Proven machining experience and strong mechanical aptitude

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
