Full Job Description

We are a growing Australian business group operating across wholesale distribution, event services and education. As our organisation continues to expand and diversify, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to oversee our administrative and operational functions and support the continued growth of the business.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading office operations, developing efficient business systems, coordinating multiple business functions, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive organisational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day office operations across multiple business divisions.

- Develop, implement and continuously improve office procedures, administrative systems and operational workflows.

- Coordinate communication and workflow across departments to ensure efficient and effective business operations.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives that increase efficiency, streamline processes and support sustainable business growth.

- Lead the implementation, optimisation and integration of enterprise business systems, digital workflow platforms and business automation technologies.

- Coordinate supplier relationships, purchasing activities and operational logistics.

- Prepare management reports, operational documentation and business performance information to support informed decision-making.

- Assist with budgeting, resource planning and business administration.

- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, staff administration and HR documentation.

- Maintain company policies, compliance records and organisational documentation.

- Support directors in delivering strategic projects, organisational change initiatives and business expansion activities.

- Establish scalable administrative systems and operational processes to support future growth.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- A minimum of three years' experience in an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, Business Operations or similar management role.

- Demonstrated experience managing office operations within a growing, multi-site or multi-faceted business environment.

- Proven experience implementing or improving enterprise business systems, ERP, CRM or other integrated business management platforms.

- Experience leading business process improvement, workflow optimisation and automation initiatives.

- Strong organisational, project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Experience developing and maintaining business policies, procedures and operational documentation.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

- High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.

- Experience with bookkeeping processes, reporting and business administration.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
