About the role:
The Product Trainer supports the delivery and execution of product training programs to internal teams, retail trade partners, and commercial trade partners. This role plays a key part in equipping the frontline with the knowledge and confidence to position, demonstrate, and support the company’s brand and product portfolio. Working under the direction of the National Product Training Manager, the Product Trainer assists in development and delivery, feedback collection, and the continuous improvement of training tools and sessions. The role will be predominantly based in Clayton, with National travel required to support training delivery across multiple locations.
What Does this role involve?
- Collaborate with the National Product Training Manager to ensure training initiatives align with global brand positioning and go-to-market objectives, adapting national strategies to fit regional requirements and market dynamics.
- Support the development of engaging and technically accurate training materials, including presentations, product manuals, videos, eLearning modules, and hands-on workshops.
- Conduct assessments to identify regional training needs by gathering input from sales teams, partners, and customers to pinpoint knowledge gaps and skills deficiencies.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance data, and refine programs as needed.
- Maintain consistency in product messaging and technical accuracy across all training channels and touchpoints.
- Leverage BSH digital tools to support hybrid and remote training delivery.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning by promoting training opportunities and supporting professional development initiatives within the region.
- Deliver training sessions across assigned regions for Bosch, Neff, Siemens, and Gaggenau, including onboarding, new product introductions, and advanced product training.
- Support regional sales teams with product expertise during key customer engagements, trade shows, launches, and promotional events.
- Maintain a national training calendar and coordinate with regional teams to ensure accessibility and scalability.
- Share best practices and insights with the National Product Trainer and other regional trainers to foster continuous improvement.
- Utilise a mix of training methods, including in-person workshops, webinars, and eLearning tools.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the varying needs of different audiences.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop content that motivates internal and external stakeholders on the features and benefits of our products and brands.
- Adapt training materials and programs based on regional product requirements, customer preferences, and market conditions to ensure relevance and impact.
- Ensure all training materials are up-to-date, accurate, aligned with business goals, and consistent in tone and branding.
- Use data and feedback to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries within the region.
- Provide ongoing support to sales teams and partners, helping to troubleshoot product-related issues and questions.
- Drive BSH value class trade-up messaging alongside Marketing and Category Teams.
- Work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing Team to drive BSH brand messaging alongside product training content.
- Partner with marketing and category teams to drive core product messaging across all touchpoints.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to keep training content relevant and valuable.
- Identify and assess opportunities for additional training needs within the region.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product training, technical sales, or marketing within a manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, technical features, and customer application of complex products
- Experience delivering both in-person and virtual training to diverse audiences
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, learner-friendly formats
- Strong organisational and project management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent training rollouts
- Experience in a multinational or matrixed organisation
- Willingness to travel nationally (30–50%) to support training delivery and field team engagement
- Degree Qualified (Marketing, business or similar) OR Equivalent experience obtained through similar roles / industry knowledge
