Part-Time Night Auditor

Working closely with the Night Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel while delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining accurate financial reporting, and supporting overnight room service operations.
About the Role
This is a Part-Time position offering:
- Minimum 4 overnight shifts per week
- Up to 5 shifts per week based on business requirements and leave coverage
- Overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel during the overnight period, ensuring guests receive exceptional service while completing end-of-day financial processes and supporting overnight operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the night shift
- Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
- Complete the nightly audit process and reconcile daily transactions accurately
- Prepare overnight reports and ensure financial records are balanced and compliant
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with the Night Manager to ensure smooth overnight hotel operations
- Monitor hotel safety and security procedures during the overnight period
- Coordinate and provide valet parking services for hotel guests
- Prepare, deliver and collect overnight room service orders in accordance with hotel standards
- Assist with overnight administrative and operational tasks as required
- Support other departments where necessary to ensure a seamless guest experience
About You
You are a self-motivated hospitality professional who thrives in an overnight environment. You are organised, reliable and able to work independently while maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
You will have:
- Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, Guest Services or a similar hotel role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling financial transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, guest-focused attitude
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities overnight
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Sound computer skills and experience using hotel management system (Opera experience highly regarded)
- Previous Food & Beverage or Room Service experience is advantageous but not essential
Essential Requirements
- Current Full Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory) due to guest valet parking responsibilities
- Full or Temporary Australian working rights with no working hours restrictions
- Availability to work a minimum of 4 overnight shifts per week
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with valet parking and room service delivery
