Position Summary
The Sales & Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager and Sales Team by ensuring customer requirements are accurately captured, verified and translated into clear operational information.
Working closely with both Sales and Operations, this role acts as the critical link between customer expectations and operational execution. By coordinating communication, maintaining accurate business systems and supporting seamless project handovers, the Sales & Operations Coordinator helps ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to project completion.
The role combines customer communication, sales enablement, operational coordination and systems management while continually identifying opportunities to improve sales processes, communication and collaboration across the business.
Purpose of the Role
To support the Sales Team by transforming customer requirements into accurate, complete and commercially sound operational information, ensuring every project progresses seamlessly from enquiry through to delivery while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Core Accountability
The Sales & Operations Coordinator is accountable for ensuring every customer opportunity progresses from enquiry to operational delivery with complete, accurate and timely information.
This role owns the quality of the handover between Sales and Operations by verifying customer requirements, maintaining the integrity of business systems, facilitating proactive communication and ensuring all departments have the information they need to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Success is achieved by creating clarity, reducing rework, improving collaboration and enabling both the Sales and Operations teams to perform at their best.

Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Minimum five years' experience in sales operations, customer service or sales coordination.
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders and commercial documentation.
- Strong understanding of CRM and ERP systems (HubSpot and SAP Business One highly regarded).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in freight estimation and logistics coordination.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and GSuite skills.
Desirable
- Experience within commercial furniture, education, construction or project-based industries.
- SketchUp or interior design experience.
- Understanding of FF&E schedules and project documentation.

Salary Guide: $80,000–$90,000 + Super

Level 2 – Senior Sales & Operations Coordinator
Expands responsibilities to include process improvement, workflow optimisation, sales reporting, mentoring team members and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
Salary Guide: $90,000–$105,000 + Super
↓
Level 3 – Sales Enablement & Operations Specialist
Leads the development of scalable sales systems, CRM governance, training programs, reporting dashboards, sales tools and operational best practice while supporting strategic business growth.
Salary Guide: $105,000–$120,000 + Super

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
