Hire Pro is a growing Gold Coast equipment hire business, and we're looking for a switched-on all-rounder to join the team. This isn't just a driving job — we need someone who can deliver gear, help run the yard, and roll their sleeves up on small repairs and servicing.
If you've got an HR licence, a mechanical mind, and you take pride in keeping a fleet running well, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Delivering and picking up hire equipment across the Gold Coast and surrounds
Loading, unloading and securing machinery safely
Yard duties: washing down gear, inspections, organising the yard, prepping equipment for hire
Servicing and small repairs on the fleet — oil and filter changes, greasing, hose replacements, basic diagnostics, fault-finding
Customer-facing work when dropping off and picking up — explaining gear and representing the business well
Our fleet
Excavators 1.5–5.5t
Loaders 1.3–5t
Scissor lifts
Arborist chippers and stump grinders
Trucks, utes and a range of small tools
What you'll need
HR licence (essential)
Mechanical aptitude — you don't need to be a qualified diesel fitter, but you should be confident on the tools and able to service machines
A strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
Good communication — you'll be the face of Hire Pro on every delivery
White card, forklift ticket and EWP ticket preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Clean driving record
The role
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Every second Saturday
Based at our Mudgeeraba yard
$35–$42/hr + super, depending on experience
Long-term position with a growing local business
