Roads Labourer - Multiple Positions | Mudgee & Rylstone

Mid-Western Regional Council is seeking multiple full-time Roads Labourers to join our Operations team, with multiple positions based in Mudgee and one position based in Rylstone .
Whether you already have experience in road construction or are looking to build on your practical skills, you'll join a supportive team working on projects that make a real difference to our community.
This is a Monday to Friday, day-shift position offering the benefit of a 9-day fortnight , giving you more time to enjoy everything the Mid-Western Region has to offer.
As part of our Roads team, you'll enjoy:

In this hands-on role, you'll work with a dedicated crew to:
- Deliver road maintenance and construction projects across the region
- Operate hand tools and small plant equipment
- Undertake a variety of physical outdoor tasks
- Work safely while contributing to a positive team culture
- Participate in an on-call roster as required
You'll be someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work and enjoys being part of a team.
To be successful, you'll have:
- A current Class C Driver Licence
- One (1) years' experience undertaking manual labour associated with road maintenance or construction work.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Competent skills in operating a wide range of small plant and equipment/hand tools
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training
The salary range for this full-time position is $2,240.20 - $2,372.70 gross per fortnight, plus superannuation, equating to an annual salary of $58,245.20 - $61,690.20, plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
