About the role
The Mental Health Clinician is part of the Mudgee Community Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Service and provides Acute Mental Health Clinical Case-Management services as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. The successful applicant will provide acute mental health support for younger clients (predominately up to 18 years of age) in the Mudgee Region who are experiencing a mental illness.
Mudgee MHDA is an innovative mental health service providing a one stop hub and support for people experiencing a mental illness and has strong professional links with other health professionals in the region. It is based within Mudgee Hospital and operates Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The successful applicant will be supported through a comprehensive Orientation process and strong opportunities exist for Ongoing Professional Development.
This position sits in the community of Mudgee, a town renowned for its food and wine festivals, beautiful parks and gardens, walking trails and cycling tracks, sports venues and community engagement.
