Full Job Description

Looking for someone who is driven, reliable, empathetic and independent.

Job description:

Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to): being the face of the clinic and the first point of contact for patients; Handling phone calls, booking and confirming appointments; Invoicing patients and taking payments; Entering patient data into clinical BP software; Assisting doctors and nurses by making phone calls, faxing and emailing etc.; Maintaining reception area & clinic tidy and welcoming; and some other general & administrative tasks are as per supervisor.

Essential selection criteria:

You should have excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to communicate with patients from all types of backgrounds; great attention to details; a high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work. You are able to work well independently but also can function as a team supporter.

Customer service experience is not mandatory, but would be ideal.

Desirable selection criteria:

Desirable skills include good communication skills, proficient computer skills, e.g.MS Office; experience in using BP clinic software, and some medical knowledge.

Fluency in Chinese, both speaking and writing, is highly desirable.

Description of practice/facilities:

We are a mixed billing GP Practice with comprehensive medical disciplines, allied health as well as cosmetic service. Location is extremely convenient, next to the Moorabbin train station, Woolworths and many cafes are nearby. Our Clinic rooms are newly renovated, clean and bright. Underground car park is available too. Our working hours are 9am to 5pm. So no need to work weekends or public holidays!
