About the Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group sports to students in out-of-home care
Assisting with differentiated learning tasks and implement individual learning or support plans
Supporting students' social, emotional, behavioural and personal care needs
Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supporting learning environment
Using a trauma informed approach when working with students

This role would suit a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for trauma informed practice and a commitment to support students with diverse needs.

About You

Experience working with students with trauma backgrounds or in an educational support role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students and families
Patience, empathy and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Ability to assist with student needs as required
Relevant training or qualifications in education support or a related field
