Full Job Description

Advanced Metal Door Frames is a small family owned business who manufactures steel door frames and timber doors.

We are looking for Machine Operators who are willing to learn and keen to work.

We are looking for people to fill the early stage of production section mentioned below, which includes operating the machines, including guillotine, turret punch and brake press. We offer on the job training.

Being a manufacturing business, there are multiple different stations you can work at, learn and grow in. these include:

Working with the machines:

Guillotine
Turret punching
Brake pressing

although we are hiring for these roles, we do offer growth within the business for driven employees, where eventually you can learn the final stages of production which includes assembling the frames, welding, grinding and painting the finished product. This growth allows you to understand the entire production process within the business.

We offer on the job training as well as a rewarding working environment where you can learn all stages of production, allowing for development and movement around the business.

4 day working week, allowing you to have a 3 day weekend. (work Monday to Thursday)
Friday as an optional half day on penalty rates
Flexibility to learn multiple different skills

Ability to work Fridays at an overtime rate (1.5x and 2x)
Milk and coffee provided for employees
15 min morning tea break, 30 min lunch break, 10 min afternoon tea break.

Preferred skills (not required)

Forklift licence
Experience using machinery

We are conveniently located right near Berowra station with buses coming at 5pm allowing easy transport back to the station after work.

Start date is not set, but would likely be within the week of an interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $240.00 – $250.00 per day
