NW Mining & Civil are seeking highly motivated, passionate and capable people to join our team in the Mining and Construction industry in North West Queensland.
A vehicle spray painter/blaster is needed for a permanent full time position, living & working in Mount Isa.
Tasks and responsibilities:
· Carry out spray paint and sand blast work on vehicle, trucks, trailers and other heavy equipment
· Complete all activities to a high and professional standard in respect to your trade/position
· Assist in the prevention of workplace incidents by reporting health or safety hazards
· Assisting all team members to achieve goals in a safe and efficient manner
· General housekeeping
· Working well in a team environment
Skills and experience required:
· Relevant Trade Certificate
· Minimum of 2 years of trade experience
· Experience in blasting equipment & safety
· Ability to prime and paint to industry standards
· Must be familiar with and use the correct PPE for each stage of operation
· Be familiar and comfortable with the use of various painting equipment
Salary range for this role is $94,000-$120,000 per annum.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo reference checks, police clearance, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
