Looking for a role where you can work in a fast-paced gaming environment, be part of a great team, and build your hospitality skills? The Mount Gambier Hotel is calling.

We’re on the lookout for a Gaming Room Attendant who brings professionalism, attention to detail, and great customer service to every shift.

ABOUT YOU!

You’re friendly, switched on, and take pride in delivering a high standard of service. You stay calm under pressure and understand the importance of discretion and compliance in a gaming environment.

You’ll thrive if you are:

THE NON-NEGOTIABLES

Must be 18+ with full Australian working rights
Current RSA (SA)
Basic Gaming Certificate (SA)
Availability for afternoon, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
Willingness to obtain Responsible Person Badge and Advanced Gaming Certificate
Strong understanding of responsible service and compliance

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a casual role offering 15–35 hours per week, across a 7 day roster.

You’ll be working across the gaming room and supporting broader service areas to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Your role will include:

Providing professional and attentive service within the gaming room
Maintaining gaming areas, furniture, and equipment to required standards
Ensuring venue ambience including lighting, music, and cleanliness is on point
Supporting food and beverage service where required
Preparing and serving beverages to a high standard
Operating gaming terminals and supporting customer enquiries
Handling cash and using POS systems accurately
Maintaining presentation and cleanliness across all service areas
Supporting upselling and contributing to venue performance
Communicating effectively with team members across the venue
Following RSA, WHS, and all hotel procedures at all times
Supporting the team with general duties as required

This is a hands-on role where professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork are key.
