Full-Time | Dandenong South

Alex Group Aus is looking for a reliable and organised Customer Service & Administration Officer to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our day-to-day customer service, sales administration and office operations. You will work closely with our Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Accounts teams and will develop strong knowledge of our products, customers and internal systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy wholesale environment, takes ownership of their work, communicates well with customers and colleagues, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer sales orders accurately in Cin 7 and manage order amendments and general order enquiries.
Respond to incoming phone calls, emails and general customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide customers with routine information regarding orders, stock availability and delivery status.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team.
Maintain accurate customer records, documentation and internal files.
Create and update customer information in Salesforce and assist with maintaining good CRM data quality.
Assist the Operations with organising customer information and documentation when required.
Assist with warranty cases and record all necessary information
Liaise with the Warehouse and Operations teams regarding orders, deliveries and customer requirements.
Assist with general office administration and internal coordination.
Coordinate routine office services, including cleaners, office supplies and other service providers.
Welcome walk in customers in the showroom
Help maintain a clean, organised and professional office and showroom environment.
Provide administrative and logistical support
Develop a strong working knowledge of our product range, customers, systems and internal processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Organised, reliable and able to follow tasks through to completion.
Friendly and confident when communicating with customers over the phone and by email.
Accurate and detail-focused, particularly when processing orders and maintaining customer information.
Comfortable working across multiple tasks and changing priorities.
A good team player who is willing to help where needed.
Comfortable learning new products and business systems.
Proactive in identifying missing information and following up rather than waiting to be reminded.
Able to work independently once trained while knowing when to escalate an issue.

Experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing, wholesale, distribution, plumbing, bathware or building products would be highly regarded.

Experience with CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce or CIN7 would also be an advantage, but training can be provided.
