Role description
Dhelkaya Health are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team working primarily in our Urgent Care Centre (UCC). Our Registered Nurses are vital members of the multi-disciplinary team, who continuously strive to deliver excellent care to patients and families in our community.
As a member of our team, you will effectively and safely deliver care as guided by our organisation's values of patient-centred care, trust and respect in an environment that is continuously looking for opportunities to improve the quality of patient care.
Our UCC is part of the Geroe Unit. The Geroe Unit provides inpatient care for medical (including transfusion services) and surgical patients, as well as providing post-natal support for Dhelkaya Health's Maternity Service. If you have previous experience in Urgent Care Centres, Emergency Departments or are RIPRN qualified and love the idea of a challenge in a complex and diverse workspace we'd love to hear from you.
About you
The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You should be able to demonstrate effective infection control practices and a commitment to quality improvement. It is desirable that you have demonstrated recent experience working in an acute/urgent care setting.
