About the role
Altuna Pty Ltd - The Glengarry Pub is seeking a talented Chef to join our team in Glengarry, Victoria. As a Chef , you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative meals for our guests, while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and service. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Salary on offer is $75000-$80000 plus super, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest culinary standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Training Junior Staff
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless food service
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and develop new menu items
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1- 2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
- Relevant Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
- Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
