What you’ll be doing in this role?
The Clinical Nurse Consultant – Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic provides specialised women’s health services using a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed and client-centred approach. Working within our GP Programs team, you will apply advanced clinical knowledge to assess, coordinate and manage care for people living with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and related women’s health conditions.
This role also acts as a Care Navigator, providing triage, case management, care planning, patient education and service coordination across primary, secondary and tertiary care settings. You will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical leadership activities to support the continued growth of this specialist service.
Your work will include:
- Providing advanced clinical assessment, triage and management for consumers with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
- Developing and reviewing individualised care plans, including symptom management and self-management strategies
- Coordinating referrals and navigating care across healthcare providers and community services
- Delivering education and support to consumers, carers and multidisciplinary teams
- Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement, service development and outcome monitoring
- Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and support for staff, students and complex case management activities
What you'll need:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to complete all required pre-employment screening checks
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrated advanced clinical experience in women's health, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain or
persistent pain management
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical decision-making, prioritisation and complex case management skills
- Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance activities
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in community health or ambulatory care settings
- A commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care and continuous service improvement
