We’re on the lookout for a data-minded, compliance-driven Payroll and Workforce Analytics Coordinator to join our supportive, energetic National Support Office team in Kent Town. This critical role sits at the intersection of payroll accuracy, compliance, and workforce planning across our multi-site pharmacy network.

Reporting to and working with the Senior Payroll Officer, you will manage operational end-to-end payroll processing and roster compliance for approximately 900 staff across multiple states. You will work closely with the HR, Finance and Operations teams, acting as the go-to expert for site managers.
Key responsibilities include:
Process & Compliance: Maintain a strong compliance mindset, following strict payroll procedures and Fair Work/legislative obligations with zero critical breaches.
Award Interpretation: Interrogate and apply multi-state Modern Awards (including the Pharmacy Industry Award) to ensure correct rates and conditions.
Beyond the Data: Look past the raw numbers to identify roster trends, gaps, or compliance risks, and proactively present actionable solutions to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR and Finance teams to support system upgrades, reporting, and data integrity.
Experience: 3+ years in a high-volume payroll role, with proven experience navigating multi-state workplace requirements and compliance structures.
Award Confidence: Exceptional capability in interpreting complex Awards and confidently explaining provisions in plain, layman's terms to managers with varying levels of experience.
Process Rigour: A meticulous approach to following processes, reconciling data, and meeting non-negotiable deadlines.
Analytical Problem Solving: Strong Excel skills and the ability to look beyond the data to surface meaningful insights, risks, and solutions.
Stakeholder Skills: The ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with HR, Finance, and site leaders.
System Exposure: Familiarity with workforce and payroll platforms (e.g., Tanda, Aurion, Employment Hero, or similar).
