About Twisted Sista Gelato Manufacturing
Based in Cranbourne West, Twisted Sista is a passionate, growing boutique gelato manufacturer. We pride ourselves on crafting premium-quality, high-margin gelato products for the hospitality, retail, and food distribution sectors. As we expand our manufacturing footprint, we are seeking a highly driven, experienced Sales Account Manager to get our foot in the door with new distributors, independent supermarkets, dessert bars, and premier food service venues across Melbourne.
The Role & Seasonal Structure
This is a dynamic, permanent part-time role designed entirely around the seasonal growth cycles of the commercial dairy and dessert market:
· Off-Peak (Autumn, Winter, Spring): 3 fixed days per week (7.5 hours per shift / 22.5 hours per week) focused on aggressive territory pipeline building, cold prospecting, and product sample presentations.
· Peak Summer Season (November to February): Mandated scale-up to 5 days per week (38 hours per week) focused heavily on managing seasonal sales spikes, maximizing order frequency, and supporting key account performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Get the Foot in the Door: Execute a minimum of 15 face-to-face introductory meetings/sample presentations per week during off-peak periods to aggressively map out and secure target precincts.
· Hunt & Convert: Turn warm internal company data pipelines and cold field opportunities into 'Qualified Active Accounts' that generate continuous wholesale transactions.
· Relationship Management: Protect production consistency and company health by maintaining an ongoing 90% customer retention rate, conducting rapid intervention site visits if client order patterns drop.
· Pipeline & Credit Administration: Log all field activity precisely via our tracking infrastructure and ensure accounts strictly respect payment parameters before dispatching inventory.
What We Are Looking For (Selection Criteria)
· Food Industry Expertise: Proven account management experience repping products within wholesale food, boutique beverage, dairy, smallgoods, or independent supermarket networks (e.g., IGA, food service supply chains).
· Established Relationships: Deep localized knowledge of the commercial Victorian hospitality map and immediate credibility with venue operators, chefs, or distributors to bypass gatekeepers quickly.
· The 'Hunter' Mentality: A relentless self-starter comfortable with structured daily door-knocking, product sampling, volume negotiations, and continuous deal closure.
· Operational Setup: Must hold a valid Australian driver's licence, a reliable clean vehicle to fulfill daily field transit requirements, and a commitment to completing the full 7.5-hour scheduled on-the-road days.
The Rewards & Commission Package
We heavily incentivize high performance. We shield your baseline security with transparent, award-compliant hourly rates while offering an uncapped mechanism to share directly in our wholesale volume scaling:
· Statutory Security: A stable base wage rate of $29.55 per hour, processed and paid weekly to support your regular field rosters.
· Vehicle Coverage: A generous $1.00 per kilometre allowance, paid dynamically on verified logbook data submissions to cover operating costs.
· Category A Commission (2.5%): A 12-month trailing commission paid on all repeat, fully cleared invoices sourced from the proprietary warm client database we hand over on day one.
· Category B Commission (4.0%): A premium 12-month trailing commission structure paid on all brand new commercial avenues established completely by your independent field prospecting.
· Profitability Safeguards: All calculations require accounts to achieve a $350 minimum product value baseline across initial drops and subsequent reorders, ensuring every delivery route is clean and profitable.
