The Team & Role
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Communications, the Project Officer is a key role in the Strategic Communications division of the Public Affairs and Communication department. It is responsible for providing administrative support across the division and broader department, and assisting with events and the compilation and production of corporate reports and other materials, as needed.
The Project Officer provides professional and confidential administrative support to the Director, Strategic Communications, and other Directors, as required. This includes diary management, assistance with finance and human resources administration, invoice processing, and records management. The role is the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders to Strategic Communications and regularly liaises with the Office of the Chief Communications Officer, Executive Assistants, Department Heads, supporters, and volunteers. The Project Officer is responsible for assisting with co-ordinating corporate events including the AGM, donor events, ministerial events, community events and launch events.

Skills & Experience Required
Demonstrated experience in an administrative, coordination, executive support, or customer service role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Well-developed communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to prepare documents, manage calendars, maintain records, and support business operations.
