About the position
Council’s Operations Department is looking for a Turf Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for the maintenance of Centenary Park Golf Course.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Turf maintenance and renewal work
- Horticulture maintenance, minor infrastructure and equipment repairs
- Support the Turf and Golf Maintenance team to develop and implement turf management works program.
About you
- Certificate III or similar qualification in Horticulture or Turf Management related discipline
- Strong level of knowledge of turf management and golf courses
- Knowledge and experience in application of fertiliser, herbicide, fungicide and insecticide to maintain turf areas in healthy condition
- Ability to use a variety of horticulture and turf management tools, plant and mechanical equipment
- A strong understanding of safe work practices

This position is a Band 3A currently remunerated at $69,665.28 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
