Kenway & Clark is a locally owned agricultural machinery dealership with nine branches across NSW and Southern Queensland. For more than 65 years, we’ve supported our customers with quality Case IH machinery and reliable aftersales service.
We currently have two Service Manager opportunities available in NSW, offering different challenges depending on your experience and what you’re looking for next:
Moree – lead the largest workshop in the Kenway & Clark group
Cowra & Young – lead Service operations across two branches, strengthening customer relationships and growing our service capability across both regions
Both are hands-on leadership roles with responsibility for workshop performance, customer outcomes and the development of our technicians and apprentices.
We’re interested in experienced Service Managers, Workshop Managers or other proven workshop leaders from agricultural, construction or heavy equipment dealerships.

Our Moree Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the largest workshop in our group.
The position has become available due to an internal transfer and offers the opportunity to take ownership of an established operation within a stable, locally owned business.
Reporting to the Group Service Manager, you’ll lead a busy workshop team and work closely with Parts and Sales to ensure customers receive efficient, professional service while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop
Developing, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
Planning and allocating work to maximise productivity and turnaround times
Monitoring workshop performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce rework
Ensuring repairs are accurately scoped, completed to standard and communicated clearly to customers
Maintaining strong workmanship and quality control standards
Managing team performance and setting clear expectations
Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient workshop and yard
Building strong customer relationships and resolving issues effectively
Working closely with Parts and Sales to deliver strong customer outcomes
Driving continuous improvement across workshop systems, processes and performance
$125,000–$150,000 base salary, with the upper end of the range reserved for candidates with strong, directly relevant experience and demonstrated capability, plus superannuation and a fully maintained company vehicle.

This role is responsible for our Service operations across Cowra and Young and can be based at either location, with regular travel between both branches.
It’s a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable being involved in the day-to-day running of the workshops while also spending time with customers, supporting our technicians and apprentices and identifying opportunities to grow Service activity across both regions.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the Service teams across Cowra and Young
Developing technicians and apprentices and building capability within both workshops
Building and strengthening relationships with customers across both regions
Proactively identifying opportunities to grow Service activity
Planning and coordinating workshop and field service work across both locations
Keeping customers informed and ensuring jobs are followed through from booking to completion and invoicing
Monitoring productivity, efficiency, job progress and rework
Ensuring repairs are properly scoped and completed to a high standard
Maintaining strong workmanship and quality control standards
Supporting the teams with technical, customer and operational issues
Setting clear expectations and managing performance where required
Working closely with Parts, Sales and Branch Management at both locations
Identifying opportunities to improve workshop systems, processes and ways of working

You’re an experienced workshop leader who understands that successful aftersales service relies on quality workmanship, good communication, strong customer relationships and clear leadership.
You’ll bring:
Experience leading, supervising or developing workshop teams
A strong technical background in agricultural machinery, construction equipment, heavy equipment or diesel
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Commercial awareness, including workshop efficiency, job costing and accurate invoicing
A commitment to quality workmanship and reducing rework
Confidence setting expectations and managing performance constructively
Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
The ability to work collaboratively with Parts, Sales and other areas of the business
Confidence using workshop management systems
Experience with Case IH machinery and Pentana or ERAPower would be advantageous, but is not essential.
