About the role
This dynamic and busy role has an immediate start and will utilise your experience in security operations offering rewarding career opportunities with a work life balance. As an integral part of the security emergency team, you will be responsible for security services around site including traffic management, asset protection, dispute resolutions, reports and systems management. Return flights to Brisbane or Cairns, meals and accommodation are provided. Duties may include but are not limited to:

Control security requirements on site

Monitor vehicles and equipment coming to and from site

Ensure compliance requirements are met

Monitor security cameras and CCTV
-
Complete reports and computer use
-
Operate management systems on site
-
Conduct random drug and alcohol testing
Skills & Experience
-
HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
-
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
-
HLTAID011 Provide first aid
-
HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid
-
HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy
-
Australian driver’s licence – c class, open licence (manual, heavy rigid)
-
QLD security licence - with functions monitoring and unarmed
-
Certificate II or III in security operations
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a rescue coal board medical
-
Current up to date immunisations – Tetanus, Hep A & B
-
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
-
All successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment medical and national police check
