About the role:
The Registered Nurse provides nursing related care for patients undergoing radiological examinations in all modalities within Medical Imaging. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate time management skills and work as an active team member, be patient and service delivery focused contributing to efficient and effective patient flow and enhancing patient care. The Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging reports to the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist via the Medical Imaging Nurse Clinical Coordinator.The Registered Nurse provides nursing related care for patients undergoing radiological examinations in all modalities within Medical Imaging. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate time management skills and work as an active team member, be patient and service delivery focused contributing to efficient and effective patient flow and enhancing patient care. The Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging reports to the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist via the Medical Imaging Nurse Clinical Coordinator.
The successful candidate will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse

Demonstrated nursing care in line with best practice, including comprehensive attention to documentation.

Demonstrated good time management and organisational skills, initiative and clinical capability to manage patient needs independently.

Calm and cooperative manner when interacting with others in a dynamic department, demonstrating excellent customer service with well-developed patient and clinician interactions.

Willingness to assist in the supervision of students and trainees.

Competence in IV cannulation
