About the opportunity:

The Physiotherapist will use clinical expertise and skills to provide highly responsive person-centred care.
- The Physiotherapist independently and professionally undertakes assessments of clients within the Home Care setting, determines individual capabilities and applies specialist knowledge and expertise to design personalised programs, treatments and strategies, to maximise client’s function, independence and quality of life.
- The Physiotherapist will assess and manage common concerns including decreased mobility, falls, and pain related issues, to support the client’s comfort, independence that will assist both them and their formal and informal carers, meet their individual health goals and support plans.
- The Physiotherapist will form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and will apply effective communication skills ,to participate in planning client’s care, service development, and quality improvement.

The Physiotherapist will oversee junior staff and Allied Health Assistants where required.

Recognised tertiary qualification and current full Physiotherapy Registration with the -
Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Demonstrated experience working in Homecare and ro Residential Aged Care
-
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
-
Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy
-
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

Current National Police Check Certificate

Current Drivers’ License
