As Double Dutch continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Baker / Bakery Assistant who wants to grow with us.

The Role

This is a hands-on position working across multiple areas of the bakery.

Your days will include:

Preparing and assembling fresh sandwiches
Pastry preparation and finishing
Assisting with bread production
Morning baking and oven work
Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
Contributing to a smooth and well-organised production environment

This role includes working every weekend as part of a consistent roster.

Who We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who genuinely loves good food and takes pride in making things well.

The ideal person will:

Have at least 3 years' experience in baking, pastry, or a chef-based role
Bring strong foundational skills and confidence working independently
Be self-motivated and take ownership of their work
Value consistency, attention to detail, and continual improvement
Enjoy being part of a community-focused business
Be excited by personal and professional growth
Be looking for a long-term job
