We are The Jerky Co - Air Dried Meat Specialists!

LOOK OUT VICTORIA - OUR 5th STORE IS LANDING SOON!!!!!

The Jerky Co is a family owned Western Australia based company that takes premium air dried meats to a new level of flavour & quality. We achieve this by producing our products using the finest MSA grade WA beef marinated for over 24 hours and only top quality ingredients from family recipes that date back 20+ years.

In this application we are looking to build a new team for our new 5th store opening up in the Glen Waverley area.

As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an enjoyable and personalised shopping experience for our valued customers. You will be part of representing our brand in Victoria.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout with their shopping experience.
Display a strong product knowledge and guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
Maintain visuals and organise merchandise to create an inviting and visually appealing store environment.
Execute sales transactions promptly and accurately, utilising our POS system.
Proactively engage with customers to build lasting relationships and foster loyalty.
Stay up to date with product information, promotions, and any changes in store policies.
Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Requirements:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ideally 2 or more years of experience in customer service & sales in a retail environment.
Passion for providing top-notch customer service.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Available to work retail hours that includes late night trade, weekends and public holidays.
Experience in cash handling and processing customer payments in Australia is essential.
Full unrestricted working rights in Australia is a requirement for this initial pool of staff.
