The opportunity
We are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to join our growing team at Town and Country Cabinets in Mount Barker. We have multiple roles available for Casual and full-time positions. As Cabinet makers or kitchen installers you will have the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from bespoke cabinet making to kitchen installation. Whether you are an experienced Cabinet Maker, Kitchen Installer, or a multi-skilled tradesperson, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities
Cabinet Maker
- Undertake Cabinet manufacture through machining / edging / knocking up and final fitment
- Work across a broad range of residential and small scale commercial jobs
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Demonstrate skills to be able to take on custom cabinetry work and offer a level of support and leadership to less experienced staff
- Uphold quality levels and support work flow processes and improvements
Kitchen Installer
- You will start your day heading straight to site from home and not the factory, so you can be living in metro Adelaide and never be too far from work
- Undertake Cabinet / Kitchen Installation on residential and small-scale commercial projects
- Work as part of a team of other installers to achieve great site outcomes
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Liaise with Project Manager and Site Supervisors to achieve outcomes while maintaining great relationships
- Work on multiple projects and ensure time delivery of results
- Offer support and assistance to your broader team, while contributing to process improvements and quality outcomes
- Be able to deliver a positive site presence with great customer service to our customers
- Fully maintained work vehicle provided, Drivers license required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Kitchen Installer, or in a related carpentry trade
- Strong proficiency with woodworking tools, machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent measuring and fitting skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of timber, materials and finishing techniques
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites across the region (installer only)
- Strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
- Preference given to candidates with experience in kitchen design and installation, or additional carpentry skills
