Our clinic in Miranda is currently seeking a Chief MIT to join the team.
The role is a full time 12 month parental leave position, reporting to the Regional Manager and Area Chief MIT, working Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm . There are occasional Saturday shifts in x-ray and non-contrast CT between 8am – 1pm.
Our busy Miranda clinic provides the following modalities: X-Ray, Mammography, OPG, BMD, CT, MRI, PET, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
Role Overview:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management and operations of the clinic.
- Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.
- Drive staff engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting collaboration, motivation, and retention .
- Encourage the growth and development of new graduates and university students
- Work closely with senior staff to plan and manage the daily workforce requirements, working with the modality leads and office manager
- Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including referrers.

What we're looking for:
✅ Current AHPRA and EPA Radiation Licence.
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
✅ Proven leadership experience as a Chief MIT or 2IC in a medium to large size clinic is ideal.
✅ Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network.
