Full Job Description

Roster: Casual contract, starting mid-August till November | Working Monday to Friday

Location: Millmerran, QLD

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the outage quality management approach
Monitor compliance with technical specifications, standards and inspection test plans
Conduct audits of contractor work practices and quality systems
Identify, track and drive resolution of defects and non-conformances
Ensure quality documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Provide guidance and support to field teams on quality expectations
Coordinate quality activities across all outage disciplines
Escalate quality risks that may impact safety, schedule or reliability
Engage with engineering to ensure technical requirements are understood and achieved
Monitor trends in defects and rework to identify systemic issues

Essential Requirements:

Current Drivers Licence
Experience in quality management within outages or heavy industry
Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, standards and compliance requirements
Experience with inspection and test plans and audit processes
Ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a field environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Ability to influence contractor behaviour and drive quality outcomes
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to operate in a high-pressure outage environment
