Roster: Casual contract, starting mid-August till November | Working Monday to Friday
Location: Millmerran, QLD
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate tracking of outage costs against approved budget and forecast
- Develop and regularly update cost forecasts reflecting current site conditions
- Interrogate contractor costs and validate claims prior to approval
- Administer the scope change process including submission, assessment, approval tracking and close out
- Ensure all scope changes are fully justified, documented and aligned with outage objectives
- Provide clear and timely cost reporting to outage leadership
- Identify cost risks and opportunities and escalate where required
- Maintain alignment between scope, schedule and cost impacts
- Support commercial discussions with factual and data driven insights
- Engage with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure cost discipline is maintained
Essential Requirements:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in outage delivery or heavy industry environments
- Strong understanding of cost control and forecasting processes
- Demonstrated experience managing scope change systems
- Commercial awareness and ability to interrogate contractor claims
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Advanced capability in Excel or equivalent cost tracking tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure outage environment
- Clear and concise communication skills
