We are looking for a dedicated, organised, and detail-oriented Sterilisation Nurse/ Technician to join our team in a permanent part-time or full-time capacity.

About the Role
As a Sterilisation Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting our clinical team by ensuring all instruments and equipment are cleaned, processed, sterilised, and prepared to the highest standards.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys working in a structured environment, and understands the importance of consistency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, packaging, and sterilising dental instruments.
- Operating and monitoring sterilisation equipment and autoclaves.
- Maintaining accurate sterilisation records and compliance documentation.
- Manage the logging, tracking, and traceability of instruments through the practice management and sterilisation software systems, ensuring accurate records and compliance with infection control requirements.
- Maintaining accurate computer records relating to sterilisation processes, instrument movements, and compliance requirements.
- Preparing instrument kits and treatment rooms for daily procedures.
- Monitoring and replenishing sterilisation and clinical consumables.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control standards and practice protocols.
- Safely managing clinical waste and sharps disposal.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient Sterilisation Department.
- Supporting the wider clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience
- Previous dental, healthcare, sterilisation, or clinical experience is highly regarded.

- Knowledge of infection control procedures is desirable.
